This is a bronze cast of a wax model I carved. It's inspired by the Lord of the Rings movies, but I designed it myself one night that was doodeling.

That is awesome!!!!! I need to learn how to cast bronze, do you think its easy??? what method do you use to do it????

Well, sorry to say I am not casting myself, just making the wax models. I would never have the time to learn that on top of the dozen things I already do. But I'd love to. At least in this model I have designed the motive, inspired by the "Lord of the Rings" movies.
I've heard bronze is one of the most difficult metals to cast but I wouldn't really know. It's realtively easy to do lost wax casting, but doing it properly take years to learn really.
Someday I want to try to play with pewter :P
